D\u00e8s les premi\u00e8res secondes, le morceau d\u00e9borde d\u2019une tension \u00e9lectrique, port\u00e9e par les synth\u00e9s de Thomas Dolby et la voix rugissante de Lou Gramm. Mais c\u2019est le saxophone incandescent de Junior Walker qui fait basculer \u00ab Urgent \u00bb d\u2019un simple tube radio \u00e0 un totem du genre, injectant dans le rock anglo-saxon une fi\u00e8vre nouvelle et un groove irr\u00e9sistible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"Foreigner - Urgent (Official Music Video)\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Lcb-Fsx_phM?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Mark Rivera intervient au saxo sur la vid\u00e9o officielle<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Le style, c\u2019est l\u2019urgence \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tat brut. Sur \u00ab Urgent \u00bb, Foreigner dynamite ses propres rep\u00e8res, pulv\u00e9rise la routine du rock FM et invoque une alchimie sonore aussi impr\u00e9visible qu\u2019\u00e9lectrisante. L\u2019intro claque comme une mise en garde\u202f: ici, \u00e7a va transpirer. Les guitares s\u2019agitent, s\u2019entrechoquent, la rythmique s\u2019emballe, tout pr\u00eat \u00e0 mordre, pendant que le saxophone incandescent de Junior Walker vient d\u00e9couper l\u2019air, creuser la tension et br\u00fbler tous les codes. Les synth\u00e9s de Thomas Dolby ajoutent une coul\u00e9e futuriste qui d\u00e9route et propulse le morceau hors des sentiers balis\u00e9s. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Chaque instrument lutte pour la lumi\u00e8re, dans une joute o\u00f9 le groove le plus animal se livre \u00e0 un bras de fer avec l\u2019instinct rock. L\u2019arrangement respire la nervosit\u00e9\u202f: ce n\u2019est pas juste une chanson mais une mont\u00e9e d\u2019adr\u00e9naline, de sueur et d\u2019\u00e9nergie brute, comme une nuit qui ne veut pas s\u2019\u00e9teindre. Ici, rien n\u2019est ti\u00e8de\u202f: \u00ab Urgent \u00bb ne choisit ni camp ni style, il fusionne, bouscule et impose sa cr\u00e9ature hybride, ce patchwork irr\u00e9sistible qui red\u00e9finit tout ce que les ann\u00e9es 80 pensaient savoir du rock.
